WELCOME TO THE GREEK PCPC
The Greek PCPC helps economic operators to orient themselves between the harmonised technical specifications, the Construction Products Regulations and the Greek legislation.
The PCPC provides information on how the requirements of Greek regulatory system (requirements in the Greek building and public works regulations) is related to the essential characteristicsΜeans those technical characteristics of the construction products which relate to the basic requirements for construction works, as:
1. Mechanical resistance and stability
2. Safety in case of fire
3. Hygiene, health and the environment
4. Safety and accessibility in use
5. Protection against noise
6. Energy economy and heat retention
7. Sustainable use of natural resources. or/and their performances that should be declared in the Declaration of PerformanceWhen a construction product is covered by a European harmonized standard or conforms to a European Technical Assessment, which has been issued for it, the manufacturer shall draw up a Declaration of Performance, when such product is placed on the market. The Declaration of Performance should be written in Greek for construction products available on the Greek market. and the CE marking , as minimum required.
In addition to the specific intended use of the construction product the manufacturer might consider more (out of the Greek requirements) characteristics, that are relevant to declare, specified in the harmonised technical specification.
